About Project
This was a substantial and challenging project located in Weymouth, where we transformed an extremely steep and difficult-to-access garden into a beautifully terraced outdoor space. Due to the garden’s steep incline, we first had to erect scaffolding to ensure safe and efficient access for our team and to facilitate the extensive work required. Additionally, we constructed a specialised access ramp, which was crucial for the smooth delivery of materials and the effective removal of waste throughout the project.
The garden was carefully terraced into three distinct levels, each designed to maximise usability and create a series of functional outdoor spaces that blend seamlessly with the natural slope of the land. The top tier has been transformed into an inviting entertainment area, complete with a fully-equipped bar, perfect for hosting gatherings or enjoying a quiet evening outdoors. Adjacent to the bar, we installed a garden office, providing a serene and private space for work or relaxation, surrounded by the beauty of the landscaped garden.
The lower tiers were thoughtfully designed to ensure ease of movement between levels, with steps and pathways that connect the various areas of the garden. Each tier offers its own unique function and aesthetic, turning what was once an underutilised and challenging slope into a stunning, multi-purpose garden that enhances both the value and enjoyment of the property.
