Crazy Paving

About Project

This project in Sydling Saint Nicholas involved the creation of a charming and distinctive crazy paving patio, paired with dry stone walling that perfectly complements the rustic character of the area. We meticulously hand-picked each stone from a quarry in Taunton, carefully selecting pieces that would contribute to the overall aesthetic, ensuring that the patio not only looks beautiful but also reflects the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The crazy paving pattern was thoughtfully designed to give the patio a unique and organic appearance, blending seamlessly with the traditional dry stone walling. To retain the authentic character of the site, we reused the existing Purbeck stone walling, integrating it into the new design. This approach not only preserved the original charm of the property but also provided a sustainable solution by repurposing quality materials.

The result is a rustic and one-of-a-kind outdoor space that offers both visual appeal and durability. The combination of carefully sourced stones and traditional craftsmanship has created a patio and walling that feel timeless, adding significant value to the property while providing a beautiful and functional area for outdoor enjoyment.
